This has been my favourite makeup look for the last few weeks - super dark lipstick and pared-down eyes. I usually go for either a purple, like the one on Scarlett Johansson in Dolce and Gabbana's Fall 2010 beauty campaign, or else a blood red. The key to this look is to keep eyes minimal (skin-toned eyeshadow, liquid liner and mascara is all I use), keep brows defined, and lips well lined. A bit of contouring never hurts, either.
These are my lip picks for this look:
Illamasqua - Growl, Diablo, Poison, Pristine lipsticks, Hermetic, Repulse intense lipglosses.
MAC - Cunning, Cyber lipsticks, Wrong Spell Venomous Villains lipglass.
