On our way to a shopping centre in Dublin's suburbs this morning, my mother and I decided it would be far more exciting to follow the signs for Belfast instead. We spent the day wandering the city's main streets and discovering bargains in Victoria Square Shopping Centre. I obviously couldn't resist a visit to the Apple Store either, even just for the shiny, sterile staircase.
